Welcome to Cupcake Liqueur ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, www.cupcakeliqueur.co.uk, and the purchase of our products.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us

Cupcake Liqueur is a UK bakery specialising in handcrafted cocktail-inspired cupcakes and baked goods.

If you have any questions regarding these Terms, please contact us using the details provided on our website.

2. Ordering

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability.

After placing your order you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not constitute acceptance.

Your order is accepted only when we confirm it has been processed.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • Products are unavailable

  • Payment cannot be authorised

  • Incorrect pricing has occurred

  • Fraud is suspected

  • Delivery is not possible

3. Prices

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).

Prices include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges are calculated during checkout and added before payment.

Prices may change without notice but this will not affect orders already confirmed.

4. Payment

Payment must be made in full before your order is prepared.

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout.

Ownership of the products remains with us until payment has been received in full.

5. Handmade Products

All our cupcakes are handmade.

As a result:

  • Colours may vary slightly.

  • Decorations may differ slightly from photographs.

  • Sizes and appearance may vary.

  • Alcohol-themed decorations may differ depending on availability.

These variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and are not considered defects.

6. Alcohol-Flavoured Products

Many of our products contain alcohol or alcohol flavourings.

Products containing alcohol are intended for adults aged 18 or over.

By placing an order for alcoholic products you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Some products may contain only flavouring while others may contain small quantities of alcohol. Product descriptions should always be checked before ordering.

7. Allergens

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

  • Wheat (Gluten)

  • Eggs

  • Milk

  • Soy

  • Nuts

  • Peanuts

  • Sulphites

  • Other allergens

Although we take great care during production, all products are prepared in a kitchen that handles allergens.

We cannot guarantee any product is completely free from allergen contamination.

Customers with severe allergies should not consume our products.

Please contact us before ordering if you require allergen information.

8. Delivery and Packaging

Delivery dates are estimates only.

While we work with reliable courier services, delays may occasionally occur which are outside our control.

Risk passes to you once the products have been delivered to the delivery address provided.

It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the order where required.

Incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer may result in delays or additional delivery charges.

Packing may vary depending on the distance the product needs to travel. This is because we add extra elements to ensure your products arrive with minimal spoilage/damage.

9. Storage

Our products are perishable.

Cupcakes

  • Store in a cool, dry place.

  • Do not refrigerate unless instructed.

  • Consume within the recommended timeframe supplied with your order.

  • Store in refrigerator upon arrival

We cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by incorrect storage after delivery or collection.

10. Cancellation

Because our products are made to order and are perishable, cancellation rights are limited under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Orders cancelled before production begins may be refunded at our discretion.

Once production has started, cancellations and refunds are generally not available.

Custom or personalised orders cannot normally be cancelled once work has commenced.

11. Returns & Refunds

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of edible products.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or faulty, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs of the product

  • Photographs of the packaging

  • A description of the issue

Where appropriate we may offer:

  • Replacement

  • Partial refund

  • Full refund

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

If contact is made after 24 hours of delivery, none of the above will be considered.

12. Personalised Orders

Customers are responsible for checking spelling, names, dates and other personalised details before confirming their order.

Errors approved by the customer cannot normally be corrected without additional cost.

13. Gift Orders

Where products are sent as gifts, it remains the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the recipient is available to receive the delivery.

14. Website Use

All website content including:

  • Images

  • Product photographs

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Designs

  • Text

belongs to Cupcake Liqueur unless otherwise stated.

No material may be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to applicable law, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

16. Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The version published on our website at the time of ordering will apply.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
